Tenth Rule of Love

Dear Readers,

I’m so excited today to share the tenth rule of Love with you all. It goes like –

The midwife knows that when there is no pain, the way for the baby cannot be opened and the mother cannot give birth. Likewise, for a new self to be born, hardship is necessary. Just as clay needs to go through intense heat to become strong, Love can only be perfected in pain.

Just prior to reading this, I happened to recall the life of Virgin Mary – who had to go through a lot of pain to give birth to Jesus. Though, mother Mary got impregnated by the Holy Spirit, the giving birth part wasn’t any easier. This endurance to pain was necessary to bring such a Master to this world.

Thanks for reading!

  1. a good reminder about the refining quality of pain & that good can come of it! age helps to sharpen that particular awareness, as a long perspective reveals the pattern more clearly. thanks for sharing this, gives my day a spot of brightness🌞
